He is a Senior Lecturer at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He is established Researcher with numerous articles publications and book reviews. Holder of MA International Relations with Top Student Award from United States International University and PhD Candidate of Peace and Conflict Studies at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Nairobi Centre and lectures at Kenya Institute of Management in Institutional Governance and Leadership Courses.
Major General Mwanzia holds Security and Intelligence PG Diplomas from US Defense Intelligence Agency, National Intelligence University, Washington DC and Intelligence and Security Center Chicksands, Bedfordshire England, UK. Israel Defence Forces Diploma in Advanced Intelligence Israel.
He is a qualified Civil Pilot and Specialist in Air Traffic Management (Senior Air Traffic Controller). He was awarded Presidential award, the Chief of the Order of Burning Spear, Elder of the Order of Burning Spear of Kenya among many other national awards.
