Salma Mazrui-Watt
Salma Mazrui-Watt is an organizational development specialist with significant expertise in business leadership, sales and marketing, corporate communications and strategic planning in both the private and public sectors.
Her current board roles are: Chairman East African Packaging Industries, Chairman Population Services International (PSI) Kenya, Chairman Marigold Fields (a Kenyan property development company) & She is also a non-executive director for AMREF Flying Doctors, Meridian Health Group and African Fund for Endangered Wildlife.
Salma was previously a member of Kenya’s National Economic and Social Council (2009 to 2015), Chairman PS Kenya, a non-executive director for PSI Washington DC (2013-2019), Kenya Airways (2009-2013) and KCA University (2003- 2013).
Salma is Chief Executive Officer of Kibeni Limited, offering business consultancy and coaching services in executive, health and wellness. Until late 2011 She was the Regional Director, Partnerships Development and External Relations at WWF East & Southern Africa Regional Program Office (ESARPO). Her other roles included: CEO of Trans Union Kenya Ltd, CEO Kenya Private Sector Alliance & COO of AAR Health Services.
Salma is a Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Salma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from George Mason University, Virginia, USA, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi & a Diploma in Nutrition. She also has a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Commonwealth Association on Corporate Governance.
